It’s icy as all get out here in NJ, but a very heartwarming holiday is right around the corner (and I don’t think you need a giant brain to figure out what it is).
I posted about the website Craftster back in May 2009 (seriously, it was that long ago??), and I check back often to kinda skulk around and see what fun things people are crafting. I found this sweet little Valentine embroidery, and I wanted to share it with you:
Here’s a close-up:
The Craftster user, xperimentl, says she took this design from a vintage coloring page she found online. She then ironed on the accent fabric with fusible web and used backstitches and a stem stitches to finish the design.

This is a quick and inexpensive craft that you could get worked up in a weekend–plenty of time to present it to your sweetie! Find your own love-themed design–and then let your heart lead the way!

I love working with fabric applique and stitchery together! It is going to snowwwwww…… here tomorrow……….love it! I have been thinking about Valentine also. Need some ideas for family!
Nice to come and see you all!
Hugs, Linda
