“As a woman I have no country. As a woman my country is the whole world.” – Virginia Woolf

March is recognized in the United States and the United Kingdom as Women’s History Month. (As if we could fit credit to all of women’s contributions to this world into one month!) These 31 days are acknowledged worldwide to highlight contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society.

We all have women in our lives that may not have changed the course of historical events, but have certainly affected our paths. Mothers and grandmothers, educators and mentors, just to name a few. If you are so inspired, please leave a comment to share a moment in your lifetime in which a woman has played a part in affecting your path in an instrumental way. We look forward to your stories (click on link to read) and reflecting with you.

My grandmother, Pearl, 1964.
