It’s a lighter. I have kept one of my grandmothers with Lily of the Valley flowers on porcelain.
An old table lighter. Uses a wick..and you have to fill it with lighter fluid.

It’s a “thing-a-ma-jig” and i have no idea what so ever, what it is. This one is just too difficult for me, to even guess….altho it looks really heavy.
Wow, this is a really old refillable lighter. Don’t see these around anymore.
